Senior Tax Manager - Heavy Construction/Mining
Responsibilities
• Design and implement global transfer pricing and tax planning strategies.
• Manage tax compliance in Canada, the US, Australia, and other regions.
• Lead audits, tax provision calculations, and financial disclosures.
• Stay ahead of evolving tax legislation and provide strategic insights.
• Mentor and guide the tax team while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
• CPA designation and completion of the In-Depth Tax Program.
• Seven + years’ of post-designation experience of relevant tax planning and compliance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and international regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
