An Animal Hospital, located in St. Catharines, Ontario, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team. As an Associate Veterinarian, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality veterinary care to our community's beloved pets.
Responsibilities:
Medical Examinations: Conduct thorough medical examinations of animals to diagnose illnesses and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Treatment: Administer medical treatments, vaccinations, surgeries, and other necessary procedures to ensure the well-being of animals.
Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, addressing their concerns, explaining diagnoses, and providing guidance on animal care.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Client Education: Educate clients on proper animal care, preventive measures, and any necessary post-treatment instructions.
Professionalism: Maintain a positive and professional bedside manner, fostering a trusting relationship with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Current licensure in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.
Experience: Previous experience in general practice or a related field is preferred.
