About the Position
Client is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Senior Behavioral Health Unit. This is a full-time day shift position requiring three 12-hour shifts per week (.9 FTE). The LPN will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, patient-focused team environment.
Under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN will assist in patient care, document observations, and ensure a safe and well-equipped environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in nursing care and treatment of patients in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit.
- Observe and document patient conditions, including illness or injury.
- Restock patient rooms and maintain equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to provide exceptional care aligned with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's degree in Practical Nursing (preferred).
Licensure:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Wisconsin (required).
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare facility (required).
