Position Summary

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for performing essential respiratory therapy procedures, including managing ventilators, drawing and analyzing ABG results, and providing neonatal and adult resuscitation. This is a full-time position with 12-hour day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available.

  • Carry out physician orders promptly and accurately according to policy.

  • Monitor and report patient changes in condition, test results, and concerns to the physician.

  • Provide patient education and risk factor assessments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • License: Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Utah.

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification (must be obtained within 6 months of employment).

  • Experience: Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred.
