General Liability Associate Attorney

Client is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join our general liability practice group. This position is available in any of our California office locations: Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
Independently manage a litigation caseload.
Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
Review and analyze discovery requests and prepare responses.
Draft pleadings and other court documents.
Prepare court filings and handle service to counsel, including e-filing.
Provide trial preparation and support.
Maintain accurate and detailed time records.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas: product liability, transportation, aviation, and premises liability.
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Skills and Attributes:
Capability to work independently.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Superior research and writing abilities.
Ability to analyze complex legal matters.
Proficiency in multitasking and working efficiently under pressure.
Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
Proven experience with motion practice and depositions.
Demonstrated ability to take lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
