The following is a job description for a leadership position at a healthcare organization.
The role involves directing the activities and resources of a department to achieve both departmental and organizational objectives. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of patient care with the skills of an experienced Registered Nurse.
The position oversees 9 Operating Rooms (OR) and 2 Endoscopy Suites at the main hospital, as well as 4 OR and 2 Endoscopy Suites at the outpatient surgery center. The candidate will manage 3 managers and a total of 60 full-time employees at the main hospital and 25 at the outpatient surgery center.
Requirements for the role include
a Bachelor's degree, an Arizona State Registered RN License, and ACLS certification.
The candidate must also have 5 years of experience managing 15 or more OR suites, with at least 3 years of experience as a director of OR in a critical care hospital.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in upper management in a critical care hospital.
