Job Description:
The Quality Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to organizational quality. This includes regulatory compliance with agencies such as the Joint Commission, CMS, State of NM, and others. The position also involves ensuring compliance with disease-specific certification, Leap Frog, patient satisfaction, public reporting, and national quality designation. The Quality Director is responsible for managing and mentoring staff, enforcing policies and procedures, and maintaining accreditation. The Director is accountable for the Quality budget and productivity, and has direct reports that include the Disease Specific team and Infection Prevention.

Must-Haves:
1. The candidate must hold a current (or eligible) RN license in the state of New Mexico.
2. A minimum of seven years of healthcare experience, with at least three years of experience in a leadership role, is required.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is a must-have. An advanced degree such as MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA is strongly preferred.
4. Experience working in a for-profit hospital is strongly preferred.
5. Experience coordinating various quality initiatives with demonstrated outcomes is also required.

Nice-To-Haves:
1. Previous experience working with regulatory agencies in an acute care environment is a plus. Minimum Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is a must-have, while an advanced degree such as MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA is strongly preferred. Minimum
Experience:
The candidate should have at least seven years of healthcare experience, with at least three years' experience in a leadership role. Experience working in a for-profit hospital is preferred.
The candidate should have previous experience in leadership, program development, budgeting, productivity, and clinical experience. Strong human relations and interpersonal skills are also required.

Licensure: The candidate must hold a current NM RN license.
