The firm is  seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join the dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex tax matters and providing strategic tax planning advice to individuals and businesses. They will also possess a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with clients and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of state and federal tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Resolve complex tax issues and protect clients' financial interests
• Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations
• Research and analyze complex tax issues
• Manage a team of tax professionals
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve tax issues
• Represent clients in tax audits and appeals
• Prepare financial reports and presentations
• Provide input on tax-related financial decisions
• Mentor and train junior tax professionals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or taxation
• CPA license required
• 8+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Quickbooks
