Avionics Repair Supervisor
**Primary Job Functions:**
This position is tasked with the effective troubleshooting, repair, installation, and servicing of avionics and electrical systems on corporate and privately owned general aviation aircraft, conducted without the necessity for constant direct supervision.
- The incumbent will ensure the completion of all required checklists, forms, and reports in accordance with company, government, and FAA regulations and guidelines.
- It is imperative to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the repair facility's manuals to facilitate competent performance.
- The position requires strict adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
**Experience and Competencies:**
- A minimum of six years of experience in line maintenance, or the installation and upgrade of General Aviation or Corporate aircraft, is required.
- The ideal candidate must demonstrate self-motivation and possess the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with the following systems is essential: pitot/static, EFIS, FMS, GPS, communication, navigation, and Wi-Fi. Knowledge of autopilot systems is considered advantageous.
- The candidate must have experience with Cessna Citation and King Air models.
- Proficiency in aircraft wiring and termination is necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- The candidate must possess their own set of tools.
- An A&P License is preferred.
- Previous possession of a Repairman Certificate is advantageous.
- An FCC General Radiotelephone License is also considered a plus.
- A solid understanding of aircraft component repair is expected.
- Familiarity with avionics test equipment, including IFR 6000, IFR 400, and Laversab 6300, is required.
