Principal Accountabilities:

  • Performs special/invasive radiology procedures on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.
  • Enters and monitors patient data.
  • Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment.
  • Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Takes emergency call within the department.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development.
  • Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of the community.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must-Haves:

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  2. Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required
  3. Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
  4. Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required
  5. 1 year experience in a Cath Lab setting

Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.
