A leading aviation company is currently seeking an experienced Airframe and Powerplant Technician (A&P) to join our team. As an A&P Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine maintenance on various aircraft to ensure safe and efficient operations. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot aircraft systems to identify and diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer's specifications, and company policies.
  • Repair or replace faulty aircraft components and systems.
  • Conduct functional and operational tests on aircraft systems to ensure proper performance.
  • Document maintenance activities and prepare accurate reports.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve maintenance issues and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay up to date with industry advancements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
 

Minimum requirement of a high school graduate or equivalent degree.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) 43, 65, 91, 135, 145.

A minimum of eight years of experience in aircraft maintenance is required.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

An Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate is a prerequisite.

Ability to obtain and maintain an AOA (Airport Operations Area) badge or meet airport requirements.

Preferably holds FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) qualification.

This experience provides a solid foundation in aircraft maintenance procedures and systems, allowing candidates to effectively troubleshoot and repair various aircraft components.

3. Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures is essential for this role. Candidates should be able to interpret technical manuals and schematics to effectively carry out maintenance tasks and identify and resolve mechanical issues.

4. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are crucial for an A&P technician. Candidates should be able to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations.

5. Attention to detail: The role requires a high level of attention to detail to perform tasks with precision and accuracy. Candidates must be meticulous in documenting maintenance activities and following procedures to avoid errors and ensure regulatory compliance.

6. Communication and teamwork: Good communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating with other technicians and departments to resolve maintenance issues. The ability to effectively communicate technical information and work well in a team environment is critical for achieving optimal outcomes.

7. Flexibility and physical ability: Candidates should be flexible to work on different shifts and weekends, based on operational needs. Additionally, the role may require lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds, so physical strength and capability are important.
