**Director of Maintenance (DOM)**

The Director of Maintenance (DOM) bears the responsibility for overseeing the overall performance of all maintenance functions pertaining to the aircraft listed on the Company's FAA 14 CFR Part 135 Certificate. This position ensures adherence to regulatory requirements while maintaining aircraft readiness and coordinating efforts among various stakeholders.

**Essential Responsibilities:**
- Possess a minimum of ten years of experience in corporate aviation, with familiarity with the following aircraft: King Air, Citation 650, Learjet 45, and Hawker 800A.
- Supervise all aircraft maintenance activities, including overhauls, modifications, maintenance, and repairs, while ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Guarantee that all maintenance work is conducted in accordance with FAA regulations (14 CFR Parts 43, 91, 119, and 135) as well as the Company’s operational and maintenance guidelines.
- Serve as the primary liaison with aircraft owners, vendors, clients, employees, and the FAA to support business operations and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Manage the addition or removal of aircraft from the Air Carrier Certificate and maintain records as stipulated by §135.63(a)(3).
- Coordinate and schedule required inspections to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards, airworthiness directives, manufacturer’s procedures, and best practices.
- Prioritize aircraft maintenance in consideration of flight schedules and parts availability to minimize downtime. - Supervise subcontracted maintenance conducted by third-party technicians to ensure compliance with the Company's General Maintenance Manual and applicable FARs.
- Act as the primary contact for the FAA and other regulatory authorities.
- Maintain and update all requisite aircraft maintenance records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Direct, coordinate, and assess the productivity and efficiency of maintenance department personnel to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective maintenance operations.
- Provide the necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, and tools to meet aircraft availability objectives.
- Maintain open communication with the leadership team to report on aircraft status, forecast downtime, and address mechanical issues or maintenance scheduling.
- Serve as a maintenance representative on the Safety Committee and as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Ensure accurate weight and balance records for all aircraft and oversee the re-weighing of multi-engine aircraft every 36 calendar months.
- Evaluate staffing requirements based on current and anticipated workloads, ensuring all maintenance personnel are qualified and competent.
- Submit mechanical reliability and interruption reports to the FAA as required.
- Ensure that maintenance personnel possess a thorough understanding of aircraft maintenance manuals, applicable FARs, and the General Operations Manual.
- Foster a strong working relationship with local FAA maintenance inspectors.
