Job Duties
Responsible for the daily review and precise recording of revenue and expenses derived from flight envelopes, expense reports, and various financial data into the accounting software system.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department and company personnel.
- Review receipts and flight logs to ensure that all expenses are accurately documented on flight envelopes. - Verify and record credit card and cash transactions in QuickBooks.
- Communicate with employees, vendors, and customers as necessary.
- Review and document expense reports in QuickBooks.
- Generate invoices in accordance with customer contracts and agreements utilizing QuickBooks.
- Maintain a current and precise inventory of customer contracts and their corresponding terms.
- Conduct weekly collection calls to customers with overdue accounts, ensuring the maintenance of call logs and records.
- Escalate and assist in mitigating delinquent accounts in collaboration with upper management through the direct supervisor.
- Investigate and report any issues or discrepancies in documentation to the direct supervisor.
- Reconcile credit card statements as assigned. - Adhere to established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience:**

A High School Diploma (or GED or equivalent) is required; a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of experience with QuickBooks is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation.
- **Language Skills:** The ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents is required. The candidate must be able to engage effectively and present information in both written and oral formats to management, clients, staff, and vendors.
- **Mathematical Skills:** The candidate must possess the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- **Computer Skills:** Proficiency in personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record-keeping, routine database management, word processing, and spreadsheet applications, is essential. This role necessitates an advanced understanding of Microsoft Office.
