A boutique advisory firm that specializes in assisting private companies is looking for Senior Tax analyst

The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients, as well as managing and mentoring junior team members. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations, and will be able to apply this knowledge to provide valuable advice to clients.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare corporate, personal and trust tax returns
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
  • Manage and mentor junior team members
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks for clients
  • Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Communicate with clients and government agencies as necessary 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Canadian tax
  • CPA designation or pursuing a CPA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

 

The tax senior will be expected to provide excellent client service and be able to work well in a team environment. The role will be challenging and varied, requiring a high level of technical and professional expertise.
