**Job Description**
In support of the enrobing area, the incumbent is responsible for achieving established standards and obtaining certification for all activities associated with a minimum of two enrobing machines.
The individual must be capable of managing both routine and complex duties related to setup, operations, changeovers, assembly/disassembly, cleaning, training, and safety independently.
The role encompasses all production operator support and/or Enrobing Operator job responsibilities as required.
**Job Responsibilities**
In support of the enrobing area, the individual is tasked with meeting established standards and may suggest recommendations for improvement.
This position requires sound judgment to initiate a line shutdown and report any safety, food safety, maintenance, production, and quality issues to the supervisor without delay.
The individual is required to read, comprehend, and adhere to all customer specifications.
The incumbent must manage with limited supervision and seamlessly execute routine and more complex tasks, including troubleshooting, assembly/disassembly, metal detection, and changeovers independently.
Should assistance be necessary, the individual is expected to elevate the issue to the leadership team. Responsibilities also include ensuring that the food quality and quality standards are consistently met within the team, which encompasses adherence to date codes, startup check sheets, and first-piece inspection standards. The individual is also accountable for assisting in the effective training of new or existing team members. Monitoring and tracking productivity and quality metrics is essential, as is identifying opportunities to maximize line efficiency.
The individual must supervise and control product weights and ensure all paperwork associated with consumptions and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules and regulations is completed accurately and on time. It is imperative to follow and enforce all safety and GMP rules and regulations among team members. The incumbent may be required to assist in various roles involved in the line as needed or as directed by management. Other duties may be assigned by management.
**Skills and Experience**
A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience is required.
The candidate must possess the ability to read and understand customer specifications and demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
**Qualifications** A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
